Cutouts:Sinks can be under-mount or self-rimming (over-mount). The Granite Shoppe prefers to have the actual sinks and faucets at their location to make proper cutouts. Holes can also be cut in the countertops for soap dispensers and water purifiers at no charge if they are specified prior to installation. Additional charges will apply for return trips to add hole cutouts.
Cutout for under-mounts will overlap the sink slightly to avoid dirt build-up on the edge of the sink - however, the edge of the sink can be left showing if specified (as most templates are shown this way). If cutting boards, sink baskets, etc. will be used, these should be provided to The Granite Shoppe to ensure that adjustments to the cutouts will accommodate them.
The standard Edge on an under-mount sink is an Eased Edge - other Edges are available for an additional charge.
For cooktop cutouts: if the Manufacturer and Model# are provided, The Granite Shoppe will take care of the rest. If there will be a downdraft behind the cooktop, this information should be provided as well.
